I was trained by Xebia in 2008 as CSPO, as part of their implementation started in 2007 of the Scrum Process. Since then I have been, as part of my PO role, always active with implementing or improving the Scrum process. Below a list of companies I gained my experience.
In 2012, when I joined Nebu, the development team did annual 2 attempts to release a new version. This was an extremely painful process due to the massive numbers of bugs. The transition towards scrum resulted in annually many successful small releases. This was achieved by implementing Unittests, integration of testing in the sprint, and reducing release scope, and not breaking sprints. For the Data Hub we took it a step further by going to continuous deployment. Also we developed the hub based upon the Lean MVP approach.
In 2011 we converted the Sapienza development to Scrum. Working with 3 teams, one local, one off-site and one off-shored.
Scrum implementation by Xebia started in 2007. As Product Owner I here discovered for the first time the pleasure and efficiency of working based upon Scrum. Experienced working with multiple scrum teams, scaling of development, the art of keeping steps small, backlog management, etc. |
